Roy Katmor, CEO & Co-founder

Roy is a 15-year seasoned product manager and security market strategist, combining strong technical knowledge with proven sales and marketing skills. Prior to enSilo, Roy led Akamai’s security strategy. Before that, he managed Imperva’s data security products and architecture management. Additionally, Roy held various product management and R&D leading roles at several international public and privately-held companies. Roy holds a BSc in Information Systems from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, and MBA in finance and business strategy from the Hebrew University. Roy is a DIY master, enjoying fixing anything from cars to home improvement.

Udi Yavo, CTO & Co-founder

Udi has more than 15 years of experience in cyber-security with a proven track record in leading cutting edge cyber-security R&D projects. Prior to enSilo, Udi spearheaded the direction of the cyber-security unit at the National Electronic Warfare Research & Simulation Center of Rafael Advanced Defense System and served as its CTO. Additionally, he developed and led Rafael’s cyber training programs. Udi’s achievements at Rafael have been recognized, winning him excellence and innovation awards on complex security projects. Prior to Rafael, Udi served as a system architect at the IDF. He holds a BA in Computer Science from the Open University. Udi’s additional accomplishments include holding a karate black-belt.

Tomer Bitton, VP Research & Co-founder

Tomer has over 12 years of experience in security research. Tomer focuses on original research such as malware reversing, hostile code and extreme packers. In his prior role, Tomer served as a low-level security researcher at the National Electronic Warfare Research & Simulation Center of Rafael Advanced Defense Systems. He won excellence and innovation awards for complex security projects there. Before that, Tomer managed the security content team at Imperva. Previous roles included a security researcher at Radware and a senior malware researcher at RSA Security. Tomer regularly practices Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Ido Kelson, VP Engineering & Co-founder

Ido has 15 years of experience in designing and developing security systems. Prior to enSilo, Ido spent 10 years at Imperva, where he designed and built Imperva’s core platform as well as leading various R&D teams. In his last role there, Ido served as a Distinguished Engineer where he was responsible for technological research, system design and special projects. While at Imperva, Ido had also designed and written patented technology and has won numerous awards for his professional achievements. Ido holds an MSc in Physic from Tel-Aviv University. While not in the offices, you’ll find Ido traveling the backroads.

Elad Horn, VP Products

Elad has more than 15 years of experience managing products and leading engineering teams. Prior to enSilo, Elad was a Principal Product Manager at EMC, responsible for defining the strategy, roadmap and requirements of several products. Before that, Elad managed Imperva’s leading enterprise security product. Elad has also held engineering roles and led software teams at Intel and Marvell. Elad holds an MBA in finance from IDC Herzliya, Israel, and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. In his spare time, you’ll find Elad competing in Ironman triathlons.

Noa Bar-Yosef, VP Marketing

Noa brings to her role a wide range of experience in the security industry, including communications, messaging, positioning and research. Previously, Noa was an independent security strategist, consulting security startups on their strategy, analyzing market trends and branding their research as a marketing tool. She has also served as a mentor in the Microsoft-Akamai cyber-security accelerator. Prior to her consultancy days, Noa was a senior security strategist at Imperva. She holds a MSc. in Computer Sciences (specializing in information security) from Tel-Aviv University and is currently also a regular contributor for SecurityWeek. Noa is a yoga and dancing enthusiast.

Maya Pizov, VP Business Development

Maya joined enSilo from Carmel ventures, a top tier Israeli VC firm. Serving as a Principal at Carmel, Maya led the cyber-security practice and was involved in multiple investments in the software and IT fields. Prior to Carmel, Maya held various Program and Product Management positions at and eBay, as part of its Israeli Development Center, focusing on building structured data systems. Maya holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Tel Aviv University, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
Maya is known for her worldwide travels in her quest for the best dining experience.

Brett Wilson, VP Sales

Brett is a security industry veteran. Prior to enSilo, Brett was GM of Cyren’s Cloud Security BU and led Cyren’s transformation into a provider of applied cyber intelligence solutions for enterprises. Previously, Brett held VP positions Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Product Strategy at Trustwave and Breach Security. Brett built strategic alliances and ran portfolio strategy projects at Symantec. Before joining the security industry, Brett served as a technology policy lobbyist and strategy consultant. Brett holds a BA from Cornell University and an MBA from the University of Maryland. Brett’s addicted to morning hill rides and the indie music scene.

Galit (Efron) Nitzan, General Manager, Israel Site

Galit has more than 15 years of experience working at various security companies. She has extensive software development experience, including managing R&D teams and leading complex software projects at startups. Prior to enSilo, Galit was a Product Manager at IBM Security (Trusteer) where she was responsible for the entire product lifecycle of their enterprise product. Before that, Galit was Trustwave’s Product Manager for its WAF product and has established Trustwave’s WAF services arm. Galit holds a Bachelor of Computer Sciences (BSc) from Tel-Aviv University, and is also a certified lawyer, holding a L.L.B Law degree from Tel-Aviv University.

Tomer Yellinek, VP Finance

Tomer joined enSilo from Akamai, a leading CDN and Cloud Services provider. Serving as the Security business unit's CFO at Akamai, Tomer managed a P&L of $250M in annualized Revenue and led M&A transactions for the Business Unit. Prior to Akamai, Tomer held various Strategy and Business Analysis roles at Amdocs and CA Technologies. Tomer started his career as a programmer working for Intel and Marvell Technologies before switching to business-oriented roles. Tomer holds a B.A. in Computer Sciences, and an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business. Tomer is a music lover and will always fit a rock concert (or two) in his schedule while traveling.

Jeff Williams, Advisor

Jeff Williams, Advisor

Jeff Williams is an Operating Partner, at Bain Capital Ventures. A sales operations executive focused on building and scaling early stage companies through every phase of growth from $0 to 1B run rate, Jeff led sales teams at FireEye through its IPO, IronPort systems (acquired by Cisco), IntruVert Networks (acquired by McAfee) and GlobalCenter (acquired by Exodus Communications). Additionally, Jeff served on the board of directors of Meraki, Inc. from 2010 until its acquisition by Cisco Systems in 2012. Most recently Jeff served on the Board of Directors at Adallom which was acquired by Microsoft and OpenDNS which was acquired by Cisco Systems.
